Lorenzo castore was born in Florence in 1973. He mostly worked in Europe (1997-2010), in New York (1997-2001), in Cuba (2001-2002) and India (1997-2001). He usually work on long term projects. His aesthetic is able to change depending from the narrative needs. He exposed his works in Italy and abroad. He won the Giacomelli award (2003) and the Leica European Publishers's Award (2005). He published two books, Nero (2004) and Paradiso (2006). Since 2003 he constantly teach in workshop and schools. He is represented by Agence Vu out of Italy.
