Mattia Crocetti is an Italian photojournalist based in Florence. His projects are stories that documents social and political changes. Born in Piombino, he started to shoot pictures when he was 16 with his first theacher Sabine Korth. He has studied photography at Accademia Italiana in Florence. In 2015 he began a course of contemporary photojournalism with E. Mancuso at Officine Fotografiche in Rome. During the last two years he focused his attention on the geotermical and steel factories in Tuscany. And now he collaborates fora a project focused on Piombino and on the end of a steel tradition started during the Etruscan age.
